GRS Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary and comprehensive product standard that specifies third-party certification requirements for recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. The goal of GRS is to increase the use of recycled materials in products and reduce/eliminate the hazards caused by their production.
RDS Responsible Down Standard (RDS) was released by the outdoor brand The North Face Joint Control Union Certification (Control Union Certifications) and Textile Exchange at the end of 2013, aiming to record animal welfare information and ensure the traceability of down products standard.
BSCI Business Social Standard Certification is a program initiated by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) to implement a social standard common supervision system for retailers, industries and importers and to improve the fulfillment of social responsibilities in the country where suppliers are located. The full name is Business Social Compliance Initiative, BSCI is an organization that advocates the business community to comply with social responsibility. The BSCI organization aims to implement a set of unified procedures to monitor and promote the social responsibility performance of companies that produce related products through continuous improvement of development policies.
SLCP (Social & Labor Convergence Project) is the abbreviation of Social & Labor Convergence Project. support the improvement of working conditions in global supply chains. The SLCP project focuses on social and labor aspects and consists of nine core themes, namely recruitment and employment, working hours, wages and benefits, employee treatment, employee participation, health and safety, employment termination, management system, labor well-being and social influence.
In 2023, Loto will continue to adhere to such certification in the future, and continue to improve and develop through the problems found in the certification.
In addition, the factory that Loto is using has passed the environmental protection assessment, noise reduction and dust assessment of the local environmental protection department, and has reached the standard; the factory adopts collective heating instead of using natural gas for heating by itself, which saves energy. The fuel for the ironing boiler used to be biomass pellets, but now it is updated to use electricity, which has made a positive contribution to environmental protection.
The construction of the new plant under construction is strictly in accordance with the requirements of the environmental protection department. Fog cannons are used to reduce dust in earthwork operations, and vehicles entering and leaving must be washed by car washing machines; many facilities will use environmentally friendly building materials, which meet the requirements of the national environmental protection department.
Solar energy and photovoltaic power generation will be installed in the factory to solve part of the electricity consumption of the factory. Solar energy is used for street lamps and hot water supply to save energy.
According to the plan, Loto's new factory will be completed in June.
