In February, we shipped a ticket of FOB cargo. The foreign country approved a cold-deployed container. The volume of the planned shipment was 66 square meters. 6 party goods. So I went to the factory to ask for a photo of the box. The reason is that the space on the top of the container is not fully utilized. What should we do when we encounter this situation?
①As a shipping, the salesman should be notified immediately, and the salesman should inform the foreign customers of this situation.
②Notify the freight forwarder in time that all the goods were not packed according to the plan, and how many goods were dumped, the agent will also transmit this situation to foreign customers to confirm the solution.
If the customer is not notified in time of the rejection of the goods, what will be the consequences? Let's take a guess:
①If the customer still has an order to ship later, can it be shipped together with the following goods?
②If the customer learns about the delivery situation very late and the goods are in a hurry, they may ask our Shipper to prepay the air freight for air freight. Wouldn't this increase our additional costs?
Therefore, if there is a situation of dumping, we must remember to notify the FOB agent in time; notify foreign customers in time. to avoid unnecessary costs.
